I work at the WHO Regional Office for Europe, within the United Nations system.
Over the past 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of growing both professionally and personally within this dynamic, multi-national UN family. It’s been an incredible journey—one that continues to inspire me every day. Through this experience, I’ve come to truly value the power of networking and personal branding, and along the way, I’ve gathered a variety of tips and insights in these areas that I enjoy sharing with others.
One of my passions is coaching. I believe coaching skills are transformative—not only in our professional lives but also in how we show up personally. They’re tools that empower us to listen deeply, reflect, and grow. I genuinely believe everyone can benefit from integrating coaching approaches into their daily routines.
That said, working in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment—like many of us do—comes with its own set of challenges. I’ve personally experienced, and witnessed in others, how the pressure of demanding workloads, lack of control over our schedules, and blurred work-life boundaries can take a real toll. It can leave us drained and disconnected from the very work that once inspired us.
This realization led me to explore themes like mindfulness, re-energizing practices, life coaching, goal setting, executive coaching, and mentorship. I’ve found these tools incredibly valuable in reclaiming a sense of balance, purpose, and well-being.
If any of this resonates with you, and you feel it might help to talk to someone—without judgment or agenda—I’d be happy to connect. Sometimes, simply having a neutral, listening ear can bring clarity and spark new perspectives.
And if not, I still wish you all the very best on your journey—wherever it may lead.
Warm regards,
Elena
