As a Data Engineer specializing in the BFSI and financial analytics sector, I currently navigate the intersection of data, analytics, and business strategy. My mission revolves around transforming data utilization in the actuarial and insurance domains, making insurance services smarter and more responsive for customers across diverse regions, including Canada, the USA, Europe, Indonesia, and the Philippines. In my day-to-day activities, I design and manage large-scale data pipelines leveraging AWS technologies such as Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, S3, RDS, and Redshift. Additionally, I utilize Databricks for scalable data processing and analytics, transforming vast amounts of raw data into insightful information that aids in product design, pricing models, and regulatory reporting. My technical toolkit primarily includes Python and SQL, which I employ for data transformation, analytics, and developing dashboards that track essential business performance metrics.

Collaboration is at the heart of my approach. I work closely with actuaries, underwriters, and product managers to ensure that the data solutions we create align with both business objectives and compliance standards.
