Tristan Labelle

Hi, I'm Tristan, a senior software engineer and lifelong learner. I was 10 when I wrote my first line of code, eventually leading to a career in systems programming (graphics, compilers, IDEs). I've worked at Microsoft, some video game studios, and I'm now at a startup developing a web browser. I've been an individual contributor, a tech lead and an engineering manager.

I'm passionate about software design, engineering practices, good communication, productivity systems and personal development. I cultivate many interests and I don't hesitate to put work on hold to go backpacking, practicing exotic tongues, tickling ivories, dancing salsa, wandering the world or flying off a trapeze.

I look forward to chatting with early to mid-career, and career switching software developers with navigating the software engineering world: industry, technical and people skills.

I speak native French, fluent English and Spanish, and conversational German, Portuguese and Italian.
